Haitian, whose English name is HADAY, is one of China’s largest seasoning manufacturers. It mainly produces soy sauce, compound sauces, oyster sauce, and related products. Among these, its soy sauce ranks first in China in terms of production, sales volume, and market share. The company is headquartered in Foshan, Guangdong, China.

In 1955, 25 long-established soy sauce workshops in Foshan—well known for their strength, rich flavors, and reputation in Hong Kong and Macau—were merged and reorganized to form the Haitian Soy Sauce Factory. In 2005, Haitian invested RMB 1 billion to build a soy sauce production base with an annual capacity of one million tons in Gaoming, Foshan. In 2014, Haitian Flavouring & Food was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Subsequently, it acquired the Kaiping fermented bean curd manufacturer Guangzhonghuang as well as Zhenjiang Danhe Vinegar Industry. In 2020, Haitian Flavouring & Food reached a market capitalization of RMB 657.7 billion, ranking third in China’s A-share consumer goods sector, after Kweichow Moutai and Wuliangye.
